Miss Birzle was served many parishes of the Diocese as a housekeeper. She was generous to the schools of the diocese by establishing an educational trust that provides tuition assistance and scholarships to students in the Catholic High Schools of the Diocese. CBET awards are based on the student's financial need. Deadline for applying for a CBET scholarship is April 1 of each year and the funds are distributed to the school for the following school year. Award Notices are sent in Mid May.
